All,
As we prepare for our return to swimming here are some instructions and photos that will help you visualize the entire process for each group from start to finish. See photos below of facilities strategic locations for parking, entry, check-in, deck entry & exit, bathrooms.

REVIEW ALL SAFETY PROTOCOLS on our website before coming to practice for the first visit.
No parents allowed in the facility.
We are requesting that parents and athletes self screen and do not return to the pool until they have had a temperature of 99.5 or less for more than 48 hours.
Parents should continue practicing social distancing while waiting in the parking lot.
PARKING LOT A is for the groups using the WALKER facility.
PARKING LOT B is for the groups using the DAVIS facility.
*****Outside each facility 6ft SOCIAL DISTANCING will begin*****
Please line up on the sidewalk in order to gain access to facility.
Enter the facility in which your group is training. Be on time and early, doors will be locked 10 minutes after the start of each group’s practice time, no exceptions.
If you need your physical and waiver forms to gain entry please have them with you, we have a list and will be updating it each day.
See the coaches at the check-in desk to gain deck access.
Coaches will have PPE on during your athletes workout at the pool.
No cell phones allowed in facilities, any seen will be confiscated.
Once on the pool deck follow your coaches instruction and go immediately to your assigned lane and prepare for your groups workout.
After your workout has concluded exit the pool from the appropriate end and gather your things and exit the building as directed.
Once workout has concluded and athletes have left the building they must exit the NEISD school property immediately.
I know this is a unique time at our club and we have been presented with an incredible challenge just to get back in the water. Please do as the coaching staff asks you and take the necessary steps to get us (AAAA-NE) back to a normal routine. Your PATIENCE, ASSISTANCE and UNDERSTANDING is greatly appreciated.

NEISD Aquatic Facility re-opening procedures have changed due to recent rulings made by the UIL (University Scholastic League) and TEA (Texas Education Agency) amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please read the following guidelines to be enforced based on these present rulings:

• Only NEAT practices will begin at the Bill Walker Pool/Josh Davis Natatorium on Monday, June 15, 2020
ONLY 7th – 12th grade swimmers are allowed to practice
ONLY swimmers enrolled in NEISD public schools are allowed to practice
• Review Entry/Exit Procedures
• Safety protocol and facility safety procedures will remain the same
• Physical Form/Medical History Form (posted in Rank One or at Aquatic Office)
• Signed Waiver (to be turned in the first day of training)

This is not intended to exclude anyone, but is part of an effort created by the UIL/TEA to get as many swimmers back in the water as safely as possible.

Hopefully, this gradual re-opening process will lead us back to normal operating procedures at all of our NEISD Aquatic facilities in the near future.

We apologize for having to change schedules previously sent to our families.

Please see the new schedule and a message from our NEISD Executive Athletic Director posted in links above.

David L. Johnson,
NEISD Director of Aquatics
